FILM DISCUSSION GROUP - meets for the screening and discussion of an unusually beautiful Armenian film - Sergei Paradjanov's ‘The Color Of Pomegranates’ (1969) [80 mins]. Also known as "Red Pomegranate" and/or "Sayat Nova," it was censored by Soviet officials and banned until 1972. Sergei Paradjanov's lavish film follows 18th-century Armenian poet Sayat Nova's incredible life, from carpet weaver's apprentice to archbishop to martyr. Film Scholar Rashmi Doraiswamy will introduce the film and co-ordinate the discussion.

PEOPLE’S FORUM - “Uniform Civil Code: Will it Unify Society” Organized by the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation and the Friedrich Naumann Stiftung. The objective of this forum is to create active citizenship by providing a platform to citizens for interaction with policy- makers, service- providers and other stakeholders in society.

DANCE WORKSHOP - The Harshavardan Mangaldas 'Spirit Of Courage' Dance Gathering; Dance Workshop to encourage excellence born out of the recognition and acceptance of other styles, forms, viewpoints and ideas.  The workshop will be demonstrative and interactive with emphasis on actual dance participation and learning.  The second workshop of the series will be conducted by renowned Kathak dancer and choreographer Smt. Saswati Sen. Conducted by the Drishtikon Dance Foundation.
