DOCUMENTARY FILM - "Shores of Silence - Whale sharks in India" (English / 24 mins), directed by Mike H. Pandey is shown as a tribute to Ishwar Chandra Pandey, a keen environmentalist and acclaimed film-maker. The film recently won the Panda award also known as the Green Oscar, at Wildscreen 2000. A Riverbank Studios production, it is the first Indian film to focus on a large marine species. The director will be present during the showing and will initiate discussions on saving the whale sharks. Reservation slips will be available at the Programme Desk from 1st January onwards. | ||
