A rich man's daughter marries a poor professor - the marriage is opposed by her bitter mother who eventually realises the value of her own marriage, and tries to repair relationships. Suchitra Sen`s sensitively etched and finely nuanced performance won her the Best Actress Award at the Moscow International Film Festival in 1963 .Film Scholar Smita Mitra will introduce the film and facilitate the discussion.

A photographer husband and his schoolteacher wife are stranded when their transport breaks down on a cross-country journey to Teheran. Whilst their vehicle is being fixed, the wife takes over a class in the village school . The urgent needs of the children distract her from a sense of loss.

DOC FILM - Nat Geo presents 'The Secret Code of the Book of Revelations' - The Battle of Armageddon, the four horsemen of the apocalypse are predictions outlined in the Bible. The film explores some of these prophecies and whether they have already come true.
