Documentary Films - PSBT- Doordarshan presents two documentary films. “Fiddlers on the Thatch” (30’) by Trisha Das is an inspirational story of the children of the Gandhi Ashram School, Kalimpong and how learning western classical music has acted as a catalyst of change, opening up new horizons in their otherwise impoverished and humdrum lives. “In Search of an Urban Ballad” (30’) by Joydeep Ghosh, is a film on the development of urban music: concrete, metal, plastic, agony and songs.
