Capturing life in it's various shades and hues through reflections on the human face, sixteen year old, Devanshi Dalmia debuted with her first solo show titled “16â€at the Experimental Art Gallery. The show was previewed at The Lodi Garden Restaurant and formally unveiled by former Deputy Prime Minister, Shri. L.K. Advani.The exhibition features sixteen works inspired by the human face. One could see various emotions – strength, dignity, and satisfaction – in these paintings. Working with both acrylic and oil paints, Devanshi Dalmia reflects a very evolved emotional resilience through her works. Two of her works have been displayed in the London office of Goldman Sachs, one of the world's leading investment banks. Devanshi Dalmia was born in 1991. She is a student of Vasant Valley School. Devanshi started painting when she was four and has made numerous sketches, acrylic paintings, water colour paintings and oil canvases.

Kalagram presented “The First Stepâ€, an eclectic collection of paintings by various artists from across India. The exhibition was showcased at the Experimental Art Gallery from 23rd March to 4th April 2008.The artists included Nihar Das, Sushant Nayak, Sushma Shah, Asish Mondal, Jeevan biswas, Chandramani and Aishwarya. The show celebrated the magic of colors and the spirit of life in all its myriad hues. Kalagram is an organization that promotes art, craft and sculpture in a new venture that is managed by experienced industry professionals who have come together, leveraging their experiences to provide a platform for deserving artists to showcase their work and indulge their creative abilities.
