• The Library Lounge is open to members, spouse member and their two guests only on presentation of their membership card.
• Dependent members are not allowed to access to the Library Lounge.
• All the members and guests are requested to sign the register at the entrance of the Library Lounge.
• The Library Lounge is open from: Monday to Friday (Saturday, Sunday closed)

Closed holidays: January 26 (Republic Day), August 15 (Independence Day), October 2 (Gandhi Jayanti), and on Holi.

• Members and their guests are requested to use their Mobile Phones outside the Library Lounge.
• Smoking is strictly prohibited in the Library Lounge.
• Eatables / soft drinks from outside are not allowed in the Lounge.
• Library Lounge offers light snacks, tea and coffee (on cash payment basis), and magazines and newspapers for general reading.
• Personal belongings, except valuables such as money, keys, Mobile Phone etc., are to be handed over to the Security Guard at the entrance to the HLRC for storage in the Baggage Desk.
• Library Lounge has been carved out especially for the use of IHC members and their guests, to facilitate communication and interaction amongst them.
• Members and guests are requested to adhere to the rules, regulations and norms of the Library Lounge.
