Discussion Group meets for the Screening and Discussion of
the extremely funny but deeply moving melodrama, Pedro Almodovar's
Talk to Her (2002), (116 mins). Filmmaker and Film
Scholar, Ranjani Mazumdar will present the film and facilitate the
discussion. Talk to Her has won Almodovar several awards including
the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay, as well a couple for
Direction while he has been nominated for several others. Talk to
Her won the European Academy award for Best Picture and was runner
up for Best Picture from the National Society of Film Critics. Javier
Camara won the European Academy award for Best Actor. |
