India Habitat Centre Arts Journal

Dr R. K Pachauri, President, India Habitat Centre, and actor & former Rajya Sabha member Ms Shabana Azmi launched the India Habitat Centre Art’s Journal 2005.

2001 marked the launch of the Visual Arts Gallery’s first annual Visual Arts Journal. A comprehensive archive of the events we organised at the gallery, the journal also focuses on concerns vital to the field of visual arts. The first issue attempted a more in-depth understanding and appreciation of art, while the second issue released in the spring of 2002 explored the all-pervasive issues of globalisation, cosmopolitanism and internationalism. The third issue released in 2003, was devoted to the art form of photography and the fourth journal, released in 2004, was exclusively on the subject of Design. The fifth and current journal is devote to the issue: “India as the knowledge bowl of the world’’.
