'The Dolls Speak' a book recording two decades of collection of dolls made of cloth and scrap by Francoise Bosteels - a Belgian by birth who came to India more than 25 years ago. The dolls command our admiration and meditation.

Jitish Kallat - an eminent artists who lives and works in Bombay. Has received his Education at the Sir JJ School of Art, Mumbai, Had won the Sanskriti Award in 1999 and experiments mostly with media.

  As part of our outreach programe the Visual Arts Gallery of the India Habitat Centre has extended it's exhibition space to the Open Plam Court and developing it as a venue for showcasing design, decorative arts, handicrafts, lifestyle and trens.

The Visual Arts Gallery continues with its Sketching Classes (twice a week), Saturday (3 p.m.-5 p.m.) and Sunday (11 a.m. - 1 p.m.) For age groups 10-17yrs and 18yrs onwards. Fee Rs. 500/month.

 
         
         
  CROSS TALK IN DESIGN
