A retrospective of the works of the architect Raj Rewal. The theme of the Exhibition will be ‘Crossroads: Traditional Wisdom + Modern Technology’.

“Young Contemporary Painters” ? an exciting exhibition, of the works of young and very talented painters, who have established their presence amongst art connoisseurs. The works of these artists have distinct identities, with a very special energy. The artists participating in the exhibition include Manisha Gera Baswani, S. Harshavardhana, Jayshree Chakraborty, Naina Kanodia, Neeraj Goswami, JayasriBurrman, Rajnish Kaur , Arindam Chatterjee, Akhilesh, Manish Pushkale, K. Muralidharan among many others.  
         
  8th - 14th January

“Unveiled” — Nigeria-based Rajiv Puri explores the body and texture through the feminine form. The virtuosity of his palette knife strokes translates into vibrant canvases that comprise his art practice.  
         
  15th - 20th January

Young Designers Series showcases the work of graduating students covering their academic and professional achievements every year. The Young Designers Show is accompanied by a publication and a CD Rom which is a compilation of the synopsis of the students’ work undertaken as class room projects and their final diploma acknowledging the industry sponsored projects and the sustained support given by the industry for this Professional Education Programme. NID commenced the Young Designers Show in the year 1989-90, and has become an annual tradition since.

“Himalayan Journey” An exhibition of works by the artist Subrata Kundu, inspired by Uttaranchal and Leh.

“Peace and Harmony”, a first-of-its-kind exhibition of studio pottery by Delhi Blue Pottery, bringing together International and National participants.

“Deep Forest” — Utility art pieces designed and developed in the deep interiors of Nagaland by the designer Siddharth Singh. The designer has developed life style products using Banana yarn and fiber, giant Gourds, giants Ferns, Banyan roots, Silk and Giant bamboo.

An exhibition of paintings, graphics and drawings by Dr. Bhawani Shanker Sharma & Satish Sharma.

“He Ram!”? Taking off from the last words of the Mahatma this exhibition of paintings by Neel Kant Chaudhary and Sankarshan Thakur explores the spirituality, religion and politics associated with Ram in contemporary India.

Art Pilgrim is hosting a group exhibition which include paintings by Satish Chandra, Subrata Gangopadhyay, Chandra Bhattacharya, Sanatan Dinda, Prasenjit Sengupta, among others.

Lodhi in Habitat” — An exhibition of paintings on Lodhi Garden and other architectural subjects by Sanjib Saha and sculptures by Sukhjeet Singh.

The Second Navsar Show— Navsar originated last year showcasing works of nine young graduates from college of art, New Delhi. This year it presents works of nine new artists and sculptors. Presented by Amit Jain.

A three months Sketching workshop by Manil Gupta, which includes basics of drawing, human anatomy, life study and composition in various mediums, like watercolours, oil, pastels etc. Sketching from live models also included. For registration contact the VAG office.
