Delhi Blue Pottery presents an exhibition of ceramics. Over the years, the Delhi Blue Pottery Trust has been organising exhibitions to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Gurcharan Singh, father of studio pottery movement in the country. The exhibition which is an annual affair brings together as many as 101 eminent studio potters from the country at the IHC.

Viart, a new vision in art by the young curator Ashna Singh Jaipuria, presents an exhibition of works of art at the Visual Arts Gallery. Ashna has been showcasing works of well-known contemporary Indian artists through exhibitions. One of Viart's objectives is to bring art closer to the people. In its attempt to do so, Viart intends to promote non-regular categories and provide platforms to younger artists, as it believes that in order to have art grow, more and more artists need to be encouraged and viewed.

Collective Spaces'06: MEC Art Gallery presents its second annual group show including works by 70 talented artists. On display will be the gallery collection along with works of artists like Dhiraj Chowdhury, Anis Niyazi, Atin Basak, Kalyan Mitra, Rahim Mirza, Satish Kale and others.

National Institute of Design (NID) holds its annual show of innovations in design at the Visual Arts Gallery from February 9th –11th 2006. The three-day exhibition will celebrate and chronicle the development of design at NID.

Hemophilia Federation India (HFI) presents an art exhibition at the Open Palm Court Gallery. Proceeds from the show will go to the HFI which has been supporting persons with hemophilia since 1983. HFI provides affordable treatment, psychosocial support and economic rehabilitation to these people through a network of chapters in 63 cities.

E'thaan - The Craft Shop presented another exhibition of handcrafted home accessories developed using various traditional Indian craft techniques including wood carving, wood block carving, Sanjhi-paper cutwork, branding, weaving and bamboo-cane craft.

Hazard Centre, a development organization based in Delhi, presents 'Street Theatre and Film Festival' at the amphitheatre. The underlying theme of the festival is to explore the much-publicised idea of a world-class city and how it is interpreted by people from different walks of life.

‘Paint Your Canvas’ - Join us for a unique creative experience in oil painting with artist Kavita Jaiswal. She will be taking oil painting classes starting 2nd December, 2005 to 4th February, 2006.

Classes open to IHC members only.
The first 10 classes will be conducted free of cost.
