'Mother Tongue – Visions from the South’ - Dravidam presents works by four talented contemporary artists from South India namely, Ramesh Gorjala, Vijay Hagargundgi, Sadaanandan & Suresh Muthukulam, in a show curated by Jaya Mani & Suresh Jayaram.

 
   
   
  11th – 15th April  2007 - Art Room presents a solo show of works by Seema Kohli, an artist whose works are based on procreation – physically, mentally and spiritually - of the feminine energy inspired by the mantra ‘Hiranyagarbha’ the golden womb.

Gallery Art Positive presents a solo show of works by Avijit Dutta, an artist who will showcase his latest figurative works in tempera on canvas board.

Solo show of works by Bipin Martha, who attempts to showcase the aesthetical and philosophical relation between man and the Lotus, inspired by Ajanta mural paintings.

 
         
  9th – 12th April  2007 - Galleria presents a solo show of works by Buwa Shete, an artist from Pune, whose “style is characterised by contemporary modernist figures, rendered mysterious by his unique Indian style”.  
         
  14th April  2007 - Empowerment a non- commercial forum an N.G.O. volunteering its services for the development and betterment of the children of the society will be conducing an Art Exhibition for children on the theme “Cultural and Heritage Sites of Delhi”.    
         
  17th – 21st April  2007 - ‘Tibetan Vision’ - An exhibition that showcases Tibetan sacred art from the classical religious art of Thanka paintings, to modern expressions in the same mediums and techniques of paintings by contemporary artists from Lhasa, Tibet, including works of Ang Sang.  
         
  27th – 30th April  2007 - A solo show of paintings by Soumen Dutta, an artist who has studied at the Shankar’s Academy of Arts, Delhi, and has exhibited at the IHC in 2005 & 2006.

  1st – 7th April  2007 - “Shadow of Light”- a photo exhibition by Paljor Tsering, a monk at the Palpung Sherabling monastery, in Himachal Pradesh.  
         
  22nd – 30th April  2007 - “Lyrical abstraction and Muses” paintings and fashion installation by Shelly Jyoti, a Vadodara- based artist, fashion designer and poet.  
         
  April - May  2007 - A Warli Painting workshop will be conducted by Poorva Musale at the India Habitat Centre. Warli paintings come from Maharashtra. A traditional Warli painting depicts a normal workday in the life of the Warli tribals. It contains all the events of the past, the stillness of the present and the possibilities of the future within it. Its greatest attraction is its lack of pretentiousness in conveying the profound.
